Kourtney Kardashian, who credits her fitness to following a healthy diet plan and workout routine has decided to switch to keto diet again. The actress had also followed the Keto meal plan a couple of years ago and surprised everyone with her fit and healthy body.
Kourtney mentioned in her recent blog post on her lifestyle website, Poosh that her doctor recommended her the keto diet two and a half years ago for the metal detoxification of her body. Further, she wrote that her doctor conducted tests on her muscles which indicated the high levels of mercury and lead in her system. Kourtney also explained the benefits she got after she followed the keto diet plan as told by her doctor.
The actress said that her doctor told that it is important to keep the body in a state of ketosis to remain healthy. Further, she revealed that she used to check her blood sugar and ketone levels every morning to remain on track. Kourtney said that following her Keto diet plan made her feel good and her body looked in a good shape.
Kourtney expressed her excitement on switching to the Keto diet meal plan for the second time and told that this time she will be taking a lot of veggies along with lean protein. She said that her plan is to follow minimal carbs, no grains, beans, or legumes in her diet. The actress shared her keto diet plan on her lifestyle website, Poosh and said that she would return to her normal diet after a month in order to maintain the right balance.
