Use of Electronic Visa is Declining the Popularity of Traditional Visa Across the World

People of all countries are preferring to use electronic services now as compared to the traditional ways when it comes to getting a tourist visa. World Tourism Organization of the United States has highlighted some facts about the use of electronic visas in some popular countries around the world.

It has said that the major part of the global population is deciding against the use of traditional visa and are opting for electronic visas. There are many countries along with India that have followed the global trends and issued eVisa application services to overseas travelers.

India had introduced an electronic visa to India called eVisa in August of the last year. Initially, the country had provided this facility to 166 countries. Now India Visa through online application is accessible to 180 countries.

This country is emerging as the global hub of overseas tourists. It has implemented many projects to attract a number of tourists through the tourism seasons that fall every year between July and March. The tourism ministry of India has also announced the lower Indian visa fees for both the lean and rich season of the tourists. Visa for India online applications are being filled by the people of almost every nation.

Digital technology is considered as a valuable factor that is shifting people from traditional visa to the electronic visas. The integration of artificial intelligence with digital technology is changing the tourism industry of the countries. Travelers are experiencing highly personalized experiences when they are applying for visa through online platforms.
