Ridaex (India) Reveals why they Chose Android 6 Instead Of Latest Android TV 8 OS

After exponential growth of Ridaex Information Systems (India) with the release of Ridaex Nuke Series in 2018, it has recently launched a newer and 2019 version of RE Series LED TVs.

Ridaex being India’s most advanced LED TV Manufacturer, launched RE PRO Series on March 1st, 2019. But surprisingly, despite being loaded with Android P for Android TV, introduced right in the month of March 2019 by Google, Ridaex has chosen to roll out the RE PRO Series with Android 6. The previous Ridaex Nuke series came out with Android 7.1.

In an Interview with Mr. Naveen Srinivas, Co-Founder of Ridaex Information Systems, Mr. Naveen revealed a couple of justifiable “What If “ security situations that could potentially put the consumers under data privacy and malfunctioning threats in higher Android Versions.

Mr. Naveen has previously worked as a Cyber Security Analyst in India’s biggest IT firm, and currently runs Ridaex’s parent company GotMatter. GotMatter is itself a Cyber Security Firm, working with IT giants such as TCS – India.

He says “ Smart LED TV’s are not personal devices for individuals. TVs are the personal devices for the entire family. Latest Android TV versions come with a lot of under – developing features such as Google Home, Google Voice Search, and many more. And with the latest features come latest security threats and bugs. I have a minimal interest to move Ridaex towards Artificial Intelligence very shortly. I am stunned by recent “Android TV privacy breach in Vu Android LED TV, iFFalcon Smart LED TV” and I don’t want Ridaex customers to face the same security situations and of course a lot of personal data will be stored in today’s Android TV’s.

Just not LED TVs, the recent “Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 Crash 2019” was also due to the failure of its Artificial Intelligence System. A manual override in this Boeing 737 Max Plane would have saved lives of 157 people on board. Referring to the Ridaex RE PRO LED TV’s Series, we have amazing LED Display, Audio Technology and Smart features introduced already, which are safe and sound enough for users. We are currently doing extensive penetration tests and looking forward to roll out the OTA updates of latest Android TV features once the Operating System seems totally secure for the end consumers.”

The words are very sensible in terms of Privacy of the consumers. RE PRO for the provided Display specs will be a definite game changer in the Indian Budget LED TV Industry.
