Honor Society Museum : Keeping the Legacy Alive for 300 Years

Honor Societies are organizations that include members who pursue academic excellence. These societies are widespread across the country but are only available for a select few. Honor Society Museum is the place that holds the legacy of honor societies across the years. It has memorabilia for over 300 years.

Honor societies are the teams of students who succeed professionally through unique access to career benefits. Honor Society is the leading honor society with active members represented at hundreds of universities across the country.

The Honor Society gives away awards and accolades only to the leaders of the past so that the leaders of tomorrow may learn from it. There are valuable lessons in the history of the Honor Society, and The Honor Society Museum wants to honor it.

One of the oldest honor societies in the country was the Phi Beta Kappa Society, which was founded in 1776. It is regularly praised for its long-standing place in history and its preference for excellence in its candidates.

The museum contains all sorts of tokens from the past received by the members of the honor societies, from diplomas to photographs. You can visit their website to have a look at their collection. The honor Society Museum also provides virtual tours for anyone interested.

Honor societies not only focus on academic excellence but in all-around goodness. That’s why honor societies of the past, as well as the present focus on community services. They arrange Community Service events starting from Red Cross fundraisers, Habitat for Humanity programs, Ronald McDonald volunteering, and many more.

The Honor Society community service events held over the years have led to a collection of over $50,000. This amount has been donated to local and national charities.
