Calvin Ross, a young R&B artist and producer, is introducing the best singles and mixtapes over the last few years. He has collaborated with many fellow artists and done a splendid job in the world of music. Recently, he joined his fellow Tennessee artist, 2c’s and got amazing production from Chriz Beatz for their Erotica EP.
Erotica EP consists of four tracks with auto-tuned vocals and feathery vocals. The four songs namely Bank, Winner, Face Down, and DIOAS. Calvin Ross, the R&B artist recently got an SCM award for the best R&B artist and he is nominated for this year’s award as well. You can vote for him here scmawards.com. He started making music at the age of 17 after acquiring his friend’s set up for $100.
Passionate about singing, Calvin Ross began producing beats using Fruity Loops and he dived into recording as well as mixing on attaining perfection in his work. His music journey was not easy as he grew up in a crime and violence-stricken area of Tennessee. Until now, he has opened for the musical artist namely, Avant, Urban Mystic, Snootie Wild, YFN Lucci, Bando Jonez, and Yung Bleu.
Releasing his first single “Bad Fetish” in March of 2015 he gained popularity in his hometown of Jackson TN. “Lost Love” was his next release in February of 2016 and with this release Calvin Ross gained recognition on a more global scale. August of 2017 was when he released “Where I Come From” where he speaks on where and how he grew up. Followed by “Last Dance” which was released July 2018.
Calvin Ross focuses on the Urban R&B music genre and he takes inspiration from many renowned artists like Michael Jackson, Usher, Ginuwine, and R. Kelly. The young R&B artist has released many of his popular EPs and singles until now and he aims to take his music to No. 1 spot on Billboard.
